Resumo:
This monograph deals with the challenges, dilemmas, difficulties and peculiarities of the expatriation process in Brazilian companies, to identify since the reasons these employees are going abroad, as how these candidates are prepared, how they are managed during their stay in a foreign country and how does their adaptation to this new culture occurs, to the scope of which policies are adopted when it is time of the repatriation. This paper is based on interviews with expatriates and has as an objective the wish to show their experiences while in a foreign country. With these reflections, the research is looking to find good information about relevant aspects of the whole process of expatriation, since the selection to the eventual return of these employees, generating with that valuable knowledge for both companies and expatriates itself, on how to deal with the complexity of this process.
