Resumo:
This study aimed to analyze the factors that lead the individual to attend a Crossfit Gym, Crossfit is a sport modality that has grown a lot over the years. The survey was conducted with practitioner s residents of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Results indicate that individuals are increasingly caring about their health and physical condition, making the exercise becomes a habit in people s lives. The search for a healthier life and a desire to increase fitness and muscle strength were the main motivations. The high price, lack of time and lack of monitoring and low technical level of the guiding are the factors that hinder / discourage.
