This monograph aims to identify, in the employees perception, the leadership
style practiced by the chief executive of the company object of study. It was the
managerial grid model, in order to verify how this leadership style impacts in the
company s work environment. Inserted in a competitive market segment in which good
leadership is essential for success, the company JLT Re Brazil was the case study
object of this work. Therefore, were analyzed the concepts and models of leadership,
as well as the definition and concepts of the Managerial Grid.
