Resumo:
The goal of this research was to analyse how the use or not of emotional intelligence reflects on the individual s satisfaction at work. Thereto, it was used a qualitative research applying in-depth interviews to sixteen professionals, eight young ones with at maximum five years of experience and eight professionals with seven years or more experience. Withal, it wasn t possible to conclude that who had emotional intelligence would necessarily be satisfied at work, for the work place, the events at work and the personal disposition seems to have great weight and influence in a person s satisfaction as the emotions do.
