Resumo:
The project has as objectives investigate the factors that influence people to become vegans and verify the impacts this decision brings to the consumer behavior when buying food products. The data used obtained through an interview with 15 brazilian vegans. As a result, was possible to identify the animal issue as a primary motivator and the reference groups as the major influencing factor. Regarding impacts in the purchasing process, the principals were the increase in research for information and the increase on the consume of natural products.
