With the popularization of Technical Analysis in the Brazilian market, more and more investors seek to gain from the use of indicators based on their strategies. This motivated the study seeking to determine the efficiency of the indicators in generating operations with possible gains in BOVESPA. So were chosen four indicators, two trackers and two oscillators, to be applied according to its standard form, the following stocks ITAUUNIBANCO PN (ITUB4), Petrobras PN (PETR4) and Vale PNA (VALE5) during crisis scenarios, recovery and lateralization June 2008 to December 2010. As a result it was possible to confirm the possibility of using investment strategies based on Technical Analysis on the BOVESPA.
