Resumo:
This paper shows a study on the influence a brand may have on the costumers choice. The main goal was to comprehend the importance of brand PUC-Rio on the students choice of institutions and its effect over them. It was possible to comprehend the value of the institutions brand through theoretical background, research and data analysis. The chosen methodology was qualitative, also using the research obtained through interviews with students from PUC and other higher education institutions from Rio de Janeiro. Thanks to the results, it was possible to see the influence the brand has on the students.
