Nowadays, companies need to constantly improve their production and management processes seeking mechanisms and strategies for competitiveness in the market. One resource for this is the logistics system. In large corporations, logistics is already seen in its strategic potential. But this does not occur in micro and small enterprises. Despite its importance in the economy, companies in this sector enjoy very little of this powerful management tool. The theme of this research is logistics in micro and small enterprises. Focuses on the analysis of logistics practices of four micro and small companies in Rio de Janeiro.
