|
This work tries to study the importance of coaches and teams captains
leadership and how they influence their athletes. It also tries to identify the main
characteristics of each leader and some of their differences.
For such analysis, some coaches and one team captain, all Brazilians,
have been interviewed. They work either in national teams or in local ones.
The results happened to be rather satisfactory and consistent with the
studied theory. The majority of them agree in many aspects of the research, fact
that was very reassuring for the conclusions drawn by the analyst.
