Resumo:
This study aims to analyze the culture and management of cultural diversity that occurred during and shortly after, an acquisition process. The present study intended to analyze the existing culture and diversity in Chemtech Company during the acquisition and adaptation of multinational engineering conglomerate Siemens. The main challenges encountered during this process and how the company used modern management theories and people management to minimize impacts in different cultures were raised. This study includes an analysis the management of cultural diversity and organizational change, in view of its impact on the success of the organization and its employees.
