The advance of New Information and Communication Technologies (NTCIs) and the emergence of smartphones has transformed the way we relate, the flow of information in society and even in the corporate environment. The trend of using work equipment for personal use has been on the rise in recent years. The utilization of smartphones in the workplace, though initially seen as an instrument for productivity, is also observed as a distraction. This study aims to identify the ingluence of habits of the use of smartphones in the performance of employees in regional branches of a commercial bank.
