Resumo:
This study aims to identify what are the motivations and values of a group of representatives of Generation Y students in search of their first work experience. Theory of Needs McClelland, Theory ERG Theory and Determination Goals: Based on the identification of four motivations were used as motivational theories. To identify the values, the methodology Shalom H. Schwartz (1992) was used. The literature on Millennials also the basis for the analysis of the results. Given the interpretation of the results, it was concluded that Generation Y seeks a constant motivation in her first professional experience as well as a first job opportunity that is in accordance with their personal values.
