Resumo:
Due to intermittent characteristic of wind, the daily analysis of this variable has an important value for energy management, providing probabilistic forecasts for this resource, making this process more efficient and riskless for decision-making. Therefore, this work aims to present the basic concepts about wind energy, accomplish a descriptive analysis of all anemometric database collected from meteorological base in São João do Cariri, Pernambuco – Brazil, through the Betz law, these data were transformed in potency to an aerogenerator with specific parameters and, then, get relevant informations, through Markov Chain concepts, that allow expected goals are achieved.
