The labor market has faced an increasing change with the transformations and competitiveness between organizations. The generation Y is a group of new entrants in the market and has different values and expectations than other generations. With that in mind, this study aims to identify which aspects are seen as important in a time of professional decision, considering the concept of career anchors defined by Schein. Through a research survey in which 32 people participated, the anchors that were considered most important were, from first to third place, respectively: Lifestyle, Autonomy / Independence and Entrepreneurial Creativity.
