Resumo:
The present study is on consumer behavior, approaching brand concepts, segmentation and positioning, consumer culture, lifestyle and reference groups. Through this field research, it was possible to identify habits and consumer costumes of surf brand clothing, differentiating the correspondent in two groups, surfers and sympathizers. Also it was possible to understand the reason in witch surf brand consumers to dress the latest trends, investigating elements and characteristics of this type of clothing that influences in relation to brands on the sport. This study was realized only with Rio de Janeiro s habitants, where is possible to find this type of consumers on surf brands with ease.
