The aim of this work is to identify the values of a group formed by representatives of generation Y that works on various departments of the company Michelin, related to the quality of working life. The methodology of Shalom H. Schwartz (1992) was used as a basis to identify these values. The existing literature on generation Y and quality of working life were also used as a basis for the analysis of the results.
Through the interpretation of the results, it was possible to conclude that the generation Y s values that are related with the quality working life, are very important for the organizations concerning some themes as motivation and professional development of this generational group. However, these results were taken from a case study that had involved a small group of representatives of generation Y. It shows the importance to conduct research in depth about the theme that was presented.
