In the 21th century the uncertainties and risks are the new socioeconomic paradigm governing the production system, the flexibility of labor and the constant changes in society.
In this context, according Dornelas (2005), entrepreneurship is a phenomenon constituted by involving people and processes together to turn ideas into opportunities and implementation leads to business creation. The present study aims to identify the positioning of micro entrepreneurs in the retail community Rocinha in Rio de Janeiro, for at ten characteristics of entrepreneurial behavior disclosed by the UN to training entrepreneurs in the world. Identify which characteristics of the micro entrepreneurs retail clothing community of Rocinha in Rio de Janeiro city are well positioned and which need improvement.
