Resumo:
The purpose of this paper is to identify and analyze the expectations of Generation Y as leadership, using as a basis the Managerial Grid Theory, of Blake and Mouton, 1964. To do this, we ve performed a literature search, addressing several theories on leadership and, more deeply, the Managerial Grid, as well as characteristics and behavior of the generations; a documentary research and a field research, through the analysis of some company s documents and application of a structured questionnaire in a telecommunication company. The analysis of the data revealed one of the guidelines of The Managerial Grid Theory as the most valued by Generation Y.
