This study aimed to identify those attributes that women consider important
in evaluation of alternatives pre-purchase of fitness clothes. With the study
results fitness market companies may offer more suitable and innovative
products to consumers. The result was generated from a descriptive survey with
a sample of 292 responses, bounded on women of Metropolitan Region of Rio de
Janeiro, practitioner of physical activity and consumer of fitness clothes. The
results of this specific sample showed that for this women the most relevant
attributes in fitness clothes are: the technology of fabrics, the variety and the
esthetics of the clothes.
