The study is focused on trying to understand what makes a person a fan of a football team. Exploratory research was conducted through interviews with several fans.
The sample used was a convenience to fans living in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It can be observed that parents are the biggest influencers of Brazilian fans. They exert more pressure and choose the teams that we are going to cheer.
It can also be concluded that we have various levels of fanaticism. Even the fans who do not consider themselves fanatics, throughout the interview, expressed heavy involvement with the club and reports of in love behavior.
