Resumo:
This study seeks to highlight, through the analysis of a specific case, the importance of the last phase of the strategic planning process used by most companies for setting goals and directions. This final phase, known as monitoring, define the success or failure of the entire process of making the company´s strategy. Starting from the definition of each stage of the process, key indicators were chosen for the company that was the object of study, Raízen Combustíveis SA. There were analyzed with the goal to measure effectiveness of the monitoring in relation to the target set.
