The present study aims to investigate how the consumption of sustainable products by the low-income public. We sought to understand, first, the consumer´s perception regarding sustainability and the brands that are associated with this concept. Subsequently, we identified and analyzed products that are related to the preservation of the environment and, at the same time, are present in the daily life of the consumer. For the development of the research it is clear that the issue of sustainability is increasingly more present. Caring for the environment has become something essential in the daily life of each one, either through selective collection, of conscious consumption or public awareness to this problem. Individuals who integrate the low-income public want a quality of life and therefore, also valorize the environment.
