Resumo:
The present work intends to analyze methodologies regarding the consumer behavior, studying specifically its application in the retail fuels market in Rio de Janeiro. It will try to elucidate through research what are the main factors that influence consumers when deciding which of the three main companies (Ipiranga, Petrobras e Raízen) of the sector they will buy fuel. Its conclusions indicates that aspects proposed by other authors, such as quality, quickness, appearance and location are still important and suggests others, like brand, prices and convenience store, to optimize the sector operation.
