This study turns more specifically to address the process of purchasing products and services offered by the sponsors of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, and aims to find out if these fans are influenced by those sponsors in the buying process. Moreover, knowing also if the rival fans of Flamengo suffer some kind of negative influence during the purchase process.
For the sake of context, the first step was to research through books, journals, academic publications and internet pages. A field research followed in the form of an online questionnaire intended to collect data related to the study.The result allowed the author to observe if the Flamengo fans suffers any kind of influence by the companies who are sponsors of their club during the purchasing process of the products and services offered by those companies.
