The following paper is a case study on the fabrication of an automatic bottle wrapping machine using a PLC. In it will be presented its development. Initially, a theoretical approach emphasizing development methodologies and tools (software) used was defined. Then, the study details the development and production of the project. Finally, it is defined the development of a midrange machinery, commonly used in small beverage production businesses.
