Resumo:
Sun’s energy is extremely important because it is a clean energy source as well as abundant; nevertheless, it is underutilized at present. It can be captured by solar panels and then forwarded to a device known as an inverter, which transforms it into alternating current , ie , the type of energy that fuels our cities . Its main advantage is the reduction of the pollutants discharged into the atmosphere through a sustainable alternative. In this work, the criteria used for the installation of solarimetric atlas are presented, as well as indicated their uses, based on the Solarimetric Atlas of Minas Gerais and Brazil. Moreover, the difference between direct, diffuse and global radiation are presented, as well as some technologies for measuring the incidence of these different types of energy. After explaining in details their differences and the equipment used for the measurement, some methods are proposed to interpolate the few data obtained by the limited amount of solarimetric stations in a large geographical area. The main method used for geospatial interpolation known as kriging, includes various types such as simple, ordinary kriging and others. Some of these methods are exposed in this work.
