Resumo:
The increasing number of users of mobile phone and the spredness of the mobile Internet in Brazil, besides the unprecedented growth of m-internet world wide, presents some excellent opportunities in Brazil. This paper’s goal is to study and understand the main perceptions of the mobile commerce among the young consumers in Brazil. To achieve this goal, a survey was performed resulting in a sample of 287 valid responses, which were analyzed through structural equations modeling (SEM) and confirmed most of the proposed hypotheses. Among the most relevant findings is that anxiety toward mobile shopping service is the most significant factor in predicting behavioral intention to use mobile commerce of the Brazilian youth.
