This paper discusses the issues that can influence the adoption of new forms of energy by the EBX Group, focusing on wind energy. Considering the global concern about the impacts on the environment aroused from any human activity, and its consequences. Factors such as environmental and social impacts of the deployment of wind farms are raised, as well as benefits and incentives for their development, going through issues such as sustainability and natural resources. Based on power generation, the Brazilian energy grid was analyzed, and the growth of renewables in the country. To answer the question raised by this paper, interviews were conducted with professionals associated with the topic. It was possible to identify that the wind sources are important alternatives to the energy market, however, its importance varies from country to country, for reasons such as geography, climate and social.
