The work is about the emergence of the Tropicalia movement and its consequences
amid the political environment in Brazil in the 60s, from the establishment of the
military dictatorship and ramifications. The starting point is the debate between Heloísa
Buarque, Roberto Schwarz, and the central focus is the historical analysis of songs by
Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso during movement.
