Resumo:
The main goal of this work is to implement a toolbox to help on teaching Electrical Power Systems. Thereunto, a program using MatLAB environment has been developed for power flow calculations and fault analysis of three-phase transmission lines. The results are simulations of electrical power systems represented by parameters which are inserted in a base table in an Excel based file (.xls). Two programs have been created, power_flow.m, which uses the bus admittance matrix and the original Newton-Raphson method for power flow calculations, and fault.m, which performs short circuit analysis using the bus impedance matrix.
