|
This work uses static equivalents to solve the load flow problem in planning and operation studies of electric power systems. The use of equivalents in control centers of power systems is mainly due to the lack of complete and / or updated information of the entire transmission network, as well as to reduce the computational effort in the calculation of the load flow.
A Matlab program was developed for the calculation of these equivalents considering the linear model. The performance of the equivalent was evaluated in contingency analysis of transmission lines and loads.
