Resumo:
This work presents an embedded system device capable of interfacing with data communications between television-oriented devices and personal computers. Its main differential is the use of the networking communications capabilities availiable by the HDMI specifications, applied to the remote control of devices through the Internet. The management handled by the final user is simplified through a common and modular software interface provided using the internet, possibly being controled from any mobile or stationary device with Internet capabilities. This guarantees the application developer a homogenous plataform to interact with these devices. The project s objective is to integrate personal and local networks to the diverse home theater devices, focusing on digital convergence.
