The use of renewable energy has been a widely discussed topic worldwide, due to the international community s concern with preserving the environment. Among the renewables, biomass is distinguished by having excellent availability. The poultry litter that is the sum of the dung of birds with the material used to line the farms, has enormous potential for energy generation. If properly fermented in digesters can be obtained as a final product, the biogas. Therefore, the objective of this study was to analyze the implementation a farm digesters for biogas generation, using this poultry litter generated by their own farm. Based on the survey of the amount of poultry litter that would be generated on each farm, we can quantify and qualify how many and what types of digester would be used. So we have a device that besides giving appropriate destination for animal waste, reduces environmental contamination, avoid the emission of methane in the atmosphere and produces biogas with low cost and becoming more profitable broiler production.
