The phenomenon of early, comprehensive and accelerated internationalization, called Truly Born Global (TBG), is being observed in an increasing number of companies, but the international business literature still lacks studies that address such issue. Based on this, this research project consisted of an analysis, in a manner of case studies, of four companies with international operations (PlayPhone, Racing ThePlanet, The FoodLinks and Zumba Fitness), which aims to investigate factors associated with the choice of entrepreneurs for the global expansion process TBG over others. Therefore, it was necessary to review the theories of Uppsala, International Entrepreneurship, Born Globals and Networks and to characterize the TBG process and its degree of internationalization. Besides the literature research and, it was sought, based on secondary data, information related to the companies evaluated as TBG, its founders and its environmental. The results allowed to build a framework for the characterization of the phenomenon and to identify the importance of the external environment, the entrepreneurs and of the aspects inherent to the business in the decision making process for the pattern of global expansion named TBG.
