Resumo:
This essay aims to identify the main competencies in the business of bars and restaurants with sportive themes in the Rio de Janeiro city. First, the food service market will be examined, and also the segment of thematic restaurants. To define the notion of competence, we turn to the theory, using academic books and articles to better explain this concept and its importance on the efficiency of organizations. Through personal interviews, the information was obtained directly from the partners, managers and employees of these establishments, about the main skills needed in the managements of this enterprise. With all the information available, an analysis was performed, followed by a conclusion.
