The recent internet growth gave birth to a new phenomenon, named Social Networks. These social networks keep growing daily, and its importance and impacts are also getting bigger. It is far from seeing its end, for there s still a lot of room down the road for this growth. This article aims to identify all the purposes of each social networks and the reasons why people keep using the same Social Network. Regarding the groups that affects the choice of using a certain Social Network, were analyzed the ones that Kotler (1998) cited and the same was done regarding the costs of changing, analyzing Graeml’s and Graeml’s study (2002)
For this study, a bibliographic review will be made about the different approaches of the Social Network s theoretical content and the different Marketing approaches. This survey covered a sample of 204 respondents.
