The main business plan of VIP (prepaid) Card Metrô Rio objective is to
encourage the use of Metrô Rio system through a new prepaid card to replace
the current one. This new card will bring far more benefits to the customer, such
as promotions in use throughout the system at times of the valley, as well as on
short trips of 01 or 02 stations. In addition, it will extend external benefits to
partners of Metrô Rio, such as discounts on cultural events (concerts, cinemas,
theaters, exhibitions, museums, etc.) and in restaurants around stations of lines
01 and 02. Thus it will be possible to offer more benefits to current and future
customers, as well as add value mainly to shareholders of Metrô Rio.
