The aging of the population is a world phenomenon and in our country it
does not have being different. Up against this scenario, that unites the growth of
the aged population witch lives more and better and the increase of their
acquisitive power, the necessity of knowing the consumption profile of this age
bracket arises. This is a comparative study on senior citizen leisure service consume
among elders from middle-upper/upper and middle-low classes in the city of Rio
de Janeiro. The results obtained from statistic studies of the information showed
that, in a general way, there is no significant difference on the leisure consume
and on the satisfaction degree among the researched groups.
