|
This work highlights the main features of the Android platform and how they can be used to develop applications for Android smartphones. In the text there are some details of the platform, like architecture, key components of an application, user interface, resources, internationalization, data storage, maps, location and how to publish an application. The work also includes a real application whose implementation is detailed. The application shows routes on top of a map and was created using GPS and the Google Maps API.
