The motorway/freeway petrol stations have a target audience with particular necessities which are different from the consumers from petrol stations located inside the cities. This audience is composed of truck drivers, and the petrol stations are looking for ways to attract them, by offering products, services and better attendance. The results of the research indicated that the truck drivers had chosen the attendance as the most important characteristic in a petrol station. It also revealed that truck drivers value the services offered, creating an opportunity to explore others segments of retails.
