This study aims to understand the main reasons that made elderly go to
Shidokan’gym, in Rio de Janeiro. A field work was done taking as tools the
observation, questioannaire and informal interviews with elderly that goes to
Shidokan and with one of the members of the company to identify the aspects
that make people with more then 65 years old go to this gym.
