Resumo:
This study focuses on the sports sponsorship and aims to identify the effects of the recall of the brands which sponsored the Olympic Games in Beijing on the minds of Brazilians. The data was collected through a vast study on the specific literature and through a survey carried out with 150 Rio de Janeiro dwellers. The results show the number of mentioned brands, the ones most remembered, within official and unofficial sponsors as well as some associations such as brand - event, exposure - recall, and genre, economic class and age range - final score.
