This business plan analyses the feasibility of developing an urban spa at the Iate Club of Rio de Janeiro. iv The number of urban spas is growing constantly, according to the association of spas (ABC SPAs). As the modern society, poses new challenges and stresses, urban spa grow stronger since the people’s daily activities become more and more demanding, this contributing to the need for down the tensions and, specially, avoid the daily stresses of modern life. The urban spa is aimed at the people associated to the club – club members and their guests, hereby considered the target public of the business. The study will also propose strategies to overcome such opportunities. By this analyses it becomes weaknesses, by aligning its potentialities and possible to conclude that the business is feasible and profitable, since the initial investment of R$ 62.416,00 may be paid back in four months, besides showing a positive profitability for the initial three years of operation.
