Resumo:
This paper aims to identify marketing strategies used by Farmanguinhos in the range of the public pharmaceutical industry to deal in, and distribute, medicines directly to state and municipal health departments, foundations and institutes. It searches to describe, assess and explain strategies based on the compound of marketing (product, price, market and promotion) in the context of public market, building a link with private pharmaceutical companies. So, the bibliography basis was extracted from management reports available at Farmanguinhos, academic articles on public health and books on business administration and marketing.
