Shell Brasil Ltda company has its contracting and procurement department shared in two important areas, an operational area, which involves expenses between three and a hundred thousand dollars, and a strategic area that involves expenses higher than hundred thousand dollars. The operational area has its focus in agility and quality of service, the objective is to provide goods and services in time not to cause any negative impact on business processes and consequently in company results. This work has as primary objective to analyze the main advantages perceived by the company with this methodology.
