Resumo:
The main objective of this work is the development of a framework for the Tuner Module in the reference implementation of Ginga-NCL middleware, making it generic and easy to instantiate upon other types of network interfaces for digital TV. In order to fulfill this goal, this project is divided into two parts: first, studies have been conducted to define the application scenario of the framework and, consequently, to develop a structural model, which is the foundation for the second part: the implementation of the Tuner Module. The use cases and tests applied to the framework demonstrate that the new Tuner of Ginga-NCL is able to manage different types of network interfaces for digital TV.
