Resumo:
The purpose of this work is to analyze the process of Spoleto s internationalization, a fast-casual Brazilian franchise chain, to Mexico. For that, is presented a theoretical study of the motives, methods and the necessaries adjustments for this expansion system. On the methodological procedure, is made an exploratory research using a qualitative approach, through an in-depth interview with the president of the company - person responsible for the internationalization of the chain -. Reviewing the responses, it was concluded that internal and external factors boosted Spoleto to the internationalization and that the method chosen and the adequacies made targeted a strong position and a great synergy with the Mexican market.
