Resumo:
This research is a case study about one of the longest cases of sponsorship in the history of the Brazilian soccer, the investments of Unimed in Fluminense soccer. The main purpose of this study is to determine the most important benefits for both, Unimed and Fluminense, after the beginning of this sponsorship. Besides that, this work analyzes the perception of Fluminense fans about this sponsor relation. Consequently, its is possible to understand more about the story of Unimed and of Fluminese s soccer, comprehend the signification of terms sports marketing and sport sponsorship, and find out, throw interviews and research made with the public, how Unimed, Fluminense and the Fluminense fans see this sponsorship.
