The pet and farming wholesale industry of the metropolitan
area of Rio de
Janeiro have been showing a highly competitive environment,
and is heading
towards maturity. The challenges of this new stage are more
complex and have
been demanding from its participants the use of more
elaborate marketing
management tools. The main objective of this work is to
propose marketing
strategies that can guide "BP Distribuidora" managers
decision making, with the
intent of sustaining and increasing their business growth
in this environment. A
marketing analysis was made to guide its managers and to be
the base for a
future marketing plan.
