Resumo:
In today s global marketplace distinguished for its intense competition and transformation on the labor relationships, the workforce diversity emerges as one of the main requisites necessary to guarantee business s success and sustainability. The present research, founded on IBM Brasil s study case, broadens the most important aspects related to diversity management as well as its benefits, limitations and prime challenges applied to 4 main groups of study: afro-descendants, women, people with disabilities and homosexuals. One important discussion derives from two correlative concepts that bounds the real strategy of social responsible actions within the organizations: ethics and competitive advantages.
